The Out in Tech U community celebrates diversity of thoughts and ideas. We want you to use this group to express yourselves and ideas by connecting to one another through your passion for tech. Use this group to freely discuss and share ideas, projects, things you love, and connect to other members of the Out in Tech Mentorship community.
Do not make posts for the purpose of promoting and inciting hateful or dehumanizing reactions from within the community. If you encounter posts that violate our stance on hate speech please report it.
This includes public or private denigration of any coachee/ coach,or other program participant.
Out in Tech Mentorship 25+ is an inclusive community and will not tolerate any discrimination of individuals or groups based on race, ethnic or national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability or disease. If you come across discrimination please report the behavior.
Don’t spam people. No one likes a spammer. Don’t post spammy messages (publicly or privately). Don’t send spammy replies. If you’d like to promote an event or a piece of work you're proud of go ahead, just be cool about it. If you have to ask yourself if your post is spamming the group, it probably is.
Don’t engage in abuse or harassment. Don’t engage in unwanted sexualization or sexual harassment. If anyone is sending you messages that makes you uncomfortable, report them.
Please know that we take all allegations of misconduct seriously. If a member takes an action that you believe to be against these Community Guidelines, please email Nolan Madson ([email protected]) or {some other team member} immediately. If we determine that misconduct has taken place, the offender will be immediately expelled from the program.
