Mentorship 25+ is a program intended to provide Out in Tech members who identify as LGBTQ+ with mentorship in their chosen discipline or desired skill set development. Mentees will be mentored by Out in Tech volunteers who have been selected based on their experience in the mentee’s chosen area of development. Mentors will offer support and encouragement, act as a sounding board for possibilities and serve as an aide in personal accountability towards growth.
Program Basics
- The program is completely free and virtual, open to members of the Out in Tech community over the age of 24 in the United States.
- The initial 2022 cohort will run for eight weeks from June 13 to July 29.
- Mentor/ mentee pairs will work together to determine the next steps in the mentee’s chosen area of development, adjusting along the way for individual consideration and challenges unique to the LGBTQ+ community.
- Because this is the first cohort of this program we will limit applications to the first 12-15 mentee candidates. Applications will close at the latter of when that number is reached or on May 27, 2022.
